Furnace Up is a technical knowledge and networking platform initiated under the leadership of Sarvion and Sistem Teknik, bringing together industry, academia, and technology providers in the field of industrial furnaces, combustion systems, and heat treatment technologies.

The purpose of this platform is to discuss the real problems of the sector, share new technologies with field-based examples, and bring engineers, decision-makers, and researchers together in the same environment.

Today, Furnace Up is a technical meeting point held regularly and growing every year, regarded as the heart of the heat treatment industry.

Current developments in critical topics such as energy efficiency, modern heat treatment processes, electrification, carbon-neutral production, and digitalization are shared within the sector; real applications, engineering solutions, and regulations are addressed by experts.

Furnace Up is not merely a seminar.

It is a living knowledge ecosystem where the decision-makers, engineers, and researchers of the industry come together.

Our Mission

The mission of Furnace Up is to accelerate the sharing of technical knowledge in the field of industrial furnaces and heat treatment technologies, to establish a sustainable bridge between industry and academia, and to create an interaction ecosystem that directly contributes to the development of the sector.

Our platform aims to:

    – Share up-to-date engineering solutions and field experiences,

    – Inform the sector about regulations and technological transformations,

    – Create collaboration opportunities among companies, engineers, and researchers,

    – Support the integration of young talents into the industry.

Furnace Up is a permanent knowledge network that aspires to build a community within the heat treatment sector that learns, produces, and grows together.

Furnace Up 1 – The First Gathering

    The Furnace Up series was held for the first time in 2024.

Technical sessions were conducted on current topics such as heat treatment, carbon emissions, electrification, and low pressure carburizing (LPC).

This inaugural event, which delivered intensive technical content for industry professionals and engineers, laid the foundation for Furnace Up to evolve into a sustainable knowledge platform.

 
 

Furnace Up 2 – The International Stage

 

In 2025, Furnace Up 2 was held in collaboration with EFSiAD, elevating the event to an international technical summit.

More than 150 industry professionals came together.
Expert speakers from Türkiye and abroad took the stage.

    – Aichelin ST – Trends in vacuum heat treatment

    – Fives North American – Regenerative and hydrogen combustion applications

Throughout the event, in-depth technical presentations and interactive Q&A sessions were conducted on the following topics:

    – Green transformation and sustainable production

With Furnace Up 2, the platform evolved beyond being merely a seminar and transformed into a strong industry networking event.

 
 

Furnace Up 3 – Academy & Industry on the Same Stage

 

As of 2026, Furnace Up is entering a new phase. This year, academic studies are at the heart of the event.
For the first time, young researchers and students will take the stage at Furnace Up.
